The reception of immigrants by Spanish society has been positive and, in general, absent of conflicts. More than four million immigrants have settled in Spain, have found work, have been unable to send money to their places of origin, as had been done before the Spanish emigrants in Europe helping to the spectacular development of our country. They have been able to bring their families and, especially, have failed to educate their children in the public, compulsory and free education in Spain model. They have been inserted in the Social Security, contributing to overcome the demographic deficit, enjoy common to all Spanish pensions and may participate in the dependency law that is going to create more jobs with elderly, sick or disabled, and enjoy their direct benefits. Immigrants, but more importantly, Spanish society, they have assumed that we need them, which help us to cover jobs, to keep our pension system, they contribute to our economic development and social of which they themselves benefit; they are part of our armed forces, our University, our spaces of art, rest and research and are present in all professions. It has been a fight without quarter by rulers who has not always been recognized by the Catholic Church or a right parties used to manage his truth. But the Spanish Bishops have just published a document in which recognize, and this is novelty in his criticism of the management of the Government, that we’re going walking well, but it must be prevented for the era of skinny cows.

Even more, they want to highlight the collaboration between the Government and Catholic in the care of immigrants, although they have so acerbamente criticized the rulers for their immigration policies. Public administrations and immigration laws are restrictive and tend to prioritize national interests and national security call, write. Faced with the phenomenon of immigration, warn of that, when the economic situation from worsening, outbreaks of racism and xenophobia can occur.
